LOCUS Passenger is now LOCUS Person

April 8, 2024 (NEW YORK, NY) – We are announcing an update to the name of our origin-destination person trip product from "LOCUS Passenger" to "LOCUS Person."
While LOCUS has always provided valuable insights into people's movements, the term "Passenger" suggests a focus on individuals using vehicles. With "LOCUS Person," we aim to acknowledge every individual on the road, including bicyclists and pedestrians, which is a core differentiator for our product.
The transition to "LOCUS Person" aligns with our objective to offer accurate multi-modal data for our customers, while maintaining the same great functionality and user experience of our software. We are excited to continuing to offer focused products and solutions that provide critical insights into questions of local and regional safety, mobility, and equity.
